Most of the shooting for Sivaji has been completed.

In the one year that it has taken for shooting Sivaji, what has Shankar learnt about Rajini?

We have heard a lot about Rajini's modesty and his moving freely with all technicians including lights men. The heroine Shriya has also expressed surprise many times over Rajini's approachability.

These are comments about Rajini's character as a top actor. What is Shankar's opinion about Rajini as an actor?

"What surprised me about Rajini sir is his punctuality. For a 6 º clock shooting, he will be ready at 5.45 to don the makeup. He learns in detail about every shot and every dialogue.

If a shot is not OK, any number of takes can be done. He cooperates till the scene comes out to satisfaction. On the whole, Rajini behaves more like a debut making star rather than a super star."

Shankar is also amazed at the fight scenes where Rajini has done a super job. We are going to see for ourselves on Tamil New Year's day!
