Rajini the king of Indian cinema!

Rajinikanth is the king of South Indian Cinema and Amitabh Bachchan is known as the Moghul of Hindi films. Despite their age and debacles in personal life, people enjoy their movies with unlimited enthusiasm. Both the actors have become demi-gods. They have been around in the industry for the past two decades and have acted together in a few Hindi films. Apart from their career, they are known for their bosom friendship all these years.

Though some of the intellectuals are of the opinion that it is unfair to compare the actors, fans would like to know their matin©e idol's position in the Indian film industry. And an online poll indicated that Rajinikanth is the superstar of the country.

A North Indian television channel conducted an opinion poll to know who is the Super Star of the country. Opinions were collected from 360 people all over the country on line. Eminent personalities in Journalism Cho S Ramaswamy of Thuglag, Bhavana Somya, editor of Screen and Amitabh Fan Club Functionary Sanjay Patotiya participated in the debate during the online poll. According to the poll, Rajini overtakes Amitabh with 52 percent votes and thus bagged the title 'superstar of India'. Amitabh bagged 48 percent of vote from the poll.

But the invitees said that it's unfair to compare the stars since both are totally different in culture, performance and box-office performances.

Cho S Ramaswamy said that Rajini is an excellent actor and no need to compare him with anybody. He contented that the actor could do any kind of role and steal the show. The worldwide business value on his name and popularity among the people has always projected him as the undisputed Super Star. But at the same time, he didn't forgot to accolade the talents of Amitabh Bachchan.
