Mahesh Devashetty, Editor of Vijay Karnataka daily has released a book on the Superstar Rajinikanth in Bangalore two days ago to felicitate the release of his much expected film Shivaji. This time, Rajini is in black and white for everyone to read.

In this book, Mahesh has given a detailed view of the superstar's childhood days and excerpts from the interviews of his close friends Raj Bahadur, Raghunandhan, Dwarkesh and few others. In many chapters the author also has written about the charisma and kindness of the actor and his personal relationship with him.

The 132-page book contains many interesting details about how Rajini disguises himself and watched his favourite films in Bangalore theaters. The author also says that the actor did this during his visits of friends and relatives. He sometimes disguises as an old man and travels in autos with a fur cap covering his face. According to Mahesh, Rajini is not an actor but a true man with all good humanitarian values.

The book has been translated into Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam as well.
