Shivaji 2 weeks late in Japan, South Africa

The die hard fans of Rajini in Japan and South Africa will have to wait for one more week to watch their matinee idol's much-talked-about film Shivaji. The film will be released in these countries only by the end of June though it was released last week in other countries.

There are hundreds of Rajini fan clubs functioning in Japan and lakhs of Rajini fans are eagerly waiting for the release of the film in Japan and South Africa. Rajini's films have been doing well in Japan since Muthu. His last film Chadramukhi has been running successfully for over 200 days in Japan. Recently, some Rajini fans celebrated 250 th day of Chandramukhi success in South Africa. Rajini fans are dying to watch the film but AVM has decided to delay the release of the film in these countries by two weeks. Sources said that record number of prints would be sent to these countries for release. The overseas distributor Ayngaran has decided to release the film with more than 60 prints in Japan alone. It will be released with 50 prints in South Africa.

The fans of the superstar who resides in countries like Mauritius, Russia and Korea will also get the chance to watch the movie in the first week of July.

AVM has also decided to dub the film in Chinese and Malay languages and will be released directly in China, Honk Kong and Thailand.
