It's
time
for
celebration
for
every
ardent
fan
of
the
superstar
Rajinikanth!
Yes…
the
undisputed
emperor
of
the
Indian
box
office
is
back
on
the
floors
of
the
AVM
Studios
for
the
Hindi
version
of
his
Shivaji.
Though
it
will
be
a
dubbed
movie,
the
super
star
is
concentrating
on
this
project,
as
if
it
were
a
remake
version.
Many
scenes,
including
some
action
blocks
which
take
place
in
the
post
intermission
reels
require
to
be
reshot
for
the
Hindi
version.
The
most
important
thing
is
Rajini's
acceptance
to
dub
in
his
own
voice
for
the
Hindi
version
too.
This
is
the
first
time
that
the
actor
has
accepted
to
dub
in
his
voice
for
a
dubbed
movie
in
his
30
years
long
career.
In
fact,
he
did
not
lend
his
voice
for
the
Telugu
version
of
Shivaji
which
was
released
simultaneously
along
with
Tamil.
A
new
song
will
also
be
shot
for
the
Hindi
version.
In
the
original
Tamil
version,
Rajnikant
impersonated
Tamil
cinema
stalwarts
like
MGR,
Sivaji
Ganesan
and
Kamal
Hassan
in
a
song.
At
the
end
of
the
song,
the
rocking
number
'Athiradikkaran...'
starts.
Now
the
crew
is
planning
to
shoot
the
song
in
a
similar
way,
but
with
a
few
new
getups
that
would
suit
the
taste
of
the
Hindi
audience.
The
superstar
will
be
impersonating
Hindi
stalwarts
like
Dev
Anand,
Shammi
Kapoor
and
Shah
Rukh
Khan
in
this
song.
Earlier,
the
director
had
requested
the
actor
to
appear
like
Big
B
in
a
scene.
But
the
super
star
politely
refused,
and
instead
said
that
he
would
like
to
impersonate
Shammi
Kapoor.
Later
Rajini
said
that
he
had
great
respect
for
the
Bollywood
superstar
Big
B,
and
doing
so
might
cause
some
ruffled
feathers
in
the
north.
The
AVM
sources
say,
"The
song
will
begin
with
black
and
white
sets
with
Rajnikanth
making
an
appearance
as
Dev
Anand
and
Shreya
as
the
yesteryear
actress,
Sadhana.
The
tune
is
based
on
a
popular
song
of
Dev
Anand
with
Sadhana.
The
second
part
of
the
song
will
have
an
Eastman
colour
block,
wherein
Rajnikanth
will
be
impersonating
Shammi
Kapoor
along
with
Shreya
as
Saira
Banu.
The
third
and
final
part
will
have
the
superstar
doing
the
King
Khan
as
in
Dilwale
Dulhaniya
Le
Jaayenge
and
Shreya
as
Kajol
from
the
same
film.
In
most
of
the
scenes,
Rajini
is
giving
lots
of
tips
about
the
classic
hits
of
the
above
said
stalwarts
to
director
Shankar,
which
is
helping
him
frame
the
scenes
perfectly.
When
our
correspondent
asked
the
CEO
of
AVM,
S.C.Babu,
about
the
process
of
Shivaji's
Hindi
version,
he
said:
"When
we
conveyed
our
idea
of
the
Hindi
dubbing
to
Rajini
sir,
he
appeared
elated,
and
gave
many
ideas
for
the
betterment
of
the
film.
He
has
given
a
week's
call
sheet
for
reshoot
of
some
of
the
scenes.
Now
it
seems
that
the
whole
film
has
a
brand
new
look
and
style
with
the
rocking
voice
of
the
superstar.
The
company
must
thank
the
legendary
hero
at
this
juncture!"
He
further
said
that
the
film
will
be
released
with
the
same
title
Shivaji
–The
Boss
and
is
expected
to
be
released
before
or
after
Diwali
to
avoid
any
competition.
