Late S.G.Kittappa was one of the legendary actors - cum singers of Tamil cinema in the early 50's, and his wife, late K.B.Sundarambal has been a household name in the Tamil film industry for more than 50 years. Their grandson Krishna's daughter Sandhya will appear in a Tamil film along with Thirumavalavan. The film has been titled as Kalagam.
Being a student of Medicine at Bengalooru, Sandhya has shown great interest in acting cum singing. She will also sing a song in Kalagam.
Along with Thirumavalavan, ace actors Nasser, Saikumar and Vadivelu also will feature in the film. Se Kuvera is producing the film under his new banner Velicham Kalaipattari. Mu.Kalangiam, the director of the film said, 'I'm very proud to introduce Sandhya in my film. I feel that this is my way of honouring the legends of Tamil cinema...''
