After Veyil became a huge hit, the title seems to have caught people's fancy. We will now soon see a new film titled Manjal Veyil. Syed I is producing the film for Hasini Films. It is directed by Raja. He is not Jayam Ravi's brother Raja. He who has worked as assistant to Adhiyaman. This is his first film as director. The story, dialogues and screenplay are by him. Hero Prasanna and heroine Sandhya are working together for the first time. Vivek adds to the comedy element of the film. Nasser and Nizhalgal Ravi do character roles. The music is by Bharadwaj&camera by T Anandakumar. Important scenes are being shot in Ooty. Some scenes are being shot in Chennai too.

What's the story? - "The sun's golden evening rays are good for the health because it has lot of vitamin D. One has to make the maximum use of this short duration," says the director. That in short is the essence of the film! We feel as we have been touched by the mid day sun!
