Sarath Kumar has no intentions of politics

For this Tamil New Year's day, Sarath Kumar is to start a new party and hence cut down on his film assignments." This news caused mixed feelings of joy and sadness in Sarath's fans.

Is Sarath Kumar really going to act in lesser films? We asked him that question right away.

"I do not belong to any party now, nor do I have the desire to join any party. I have still not made a decision about starting a new party either."

But he said he will continue to do films. In a few weeks, his Pachaikili Muthucharam directed by Gautham is to be released. His next film Vaitheeswaran will be released after this. "Apart from these, I have agreed to act in 5 films," said Sarath.

One is a Malayalam film directed by Hariharan. In this historical film, Sarath will co-star with Mammootty.
