The first Tamil film in Malayalam

Satham Podathey, a romantic thriller by director Vasanth will be dubbed into Malayalam.

Having Prithviraj and Padmapriya in the lead role, the film is said to be the first Tamil film which will be dubbed into Malayalam. The news about the Malayalam dubbing might be a new one for the readers but not for its director. Right from the days of pooja of the film, he was aiming to create a market for the film in Kerala. That was the only reason behind the selection of Padmapriya and Prithviraj in the lead roles.

Diva Pictures, the regular distributors of Tamil films in Kerala has clinched the deal for dubbing ,and plans to release the film's Malayalam version simultaneously with its Tamil version.

Yuvan Shankar Raja has composed the music for the film. The recently launched audio of the film is doing good business in the music market and is currently placed second only to the Shivaji chartbusters!
