Sathyaraj wants to act as MGR without payment!

Sathyaraj, is a great fan and staunch follower of the uncrowned Emperor of Tamil Cinema MGR, is now expressed his wish to act as MGR even without any payment, if anyone comes forward to take a film on MGR biography.

At a press conference to show an old MGR remix song from his new film Thangam, Sathyaraj waxed eloquent. Sathyaraj says: "I'm a crazy fan of MGR and all of you know about it. If anybody comes forward, I'm ready to do the role on the late legend just like Periyar."

For his new film Thangam, Sathyaraj, director Kichaas and music director Srikanth Deva have remixed an old MGR song 'Poo Mazhai Thoovi…' from his blockbuster 'Ninaithathai Mudipavan', and used the same song remixed (but not killed the original flavour) but the same situation of the hero dreaming of his sister's wedding!

The highlight of the film is Goundamani's comedy. The ace comedian is almost rocking with his timing punch and in most of the scenes (pilot track shown for the press) he simply dominates Sathyaraj, the hero of the movie.

Admitting this in lighter vein, Sathyaraj told, "I'm just appearing along with Goundamani in most of the scenes. Because it is very difficult to any heroes to shine in front of comedy king Goundamani. That's why in most of the scenes I simply laughs like a fan and enjoys his comedy."
