Which actor has played the role of a tough cop in the maximum number of films? Vijaykanth? No... it is Sathyaraj!

So far he has been played the role in more than a dozen films. From Kadamai Ganniyam Kattuppadu to Perumalsamy IPS, Sathyaraj has enacted all the nuances which are present in a cop's character.

The talented actor is going to don the role of a cop once again for the film Sivalingam IPS. One of his long time associates, Rajkapoor, will be the director of the movie.

Swarnamalya will play the role of the lead lady for the first time against the actor. Till the release of Mozhi, many producers had an aversion with the actress due to her involvement in many controversies like Jayendrar issue, blue films etc. But her flawless performance in Mozhi has erased all the blots on her character, and the actress is quite busy nowadays with a number of projects. Will Sivalingam IPS bring back the days of Walter Vetrivel again for Sathyaraj? Let us wait and watch!
