After
the
disappointment
of
the
expulsion
of
Pallikoodam
from
Canes,
director
Thankar
Bachan
has
broken
the
silence
by
declaring
his
next
film.
Surprisingly,
actor
Sathyaraj
will
play
the
lead
role
in
his
next
film.
The
director
too
is
going
to
appear
in
a
guest
role.
Thankar
performed
pooja
for
a
film
titled
Onbathu
Roopai
Nottu
a
few
years
ago
and
Oscar
Films
Ravichandran
was
supposed
to
produce
it.
But
the
project
was
dropped
following
misunderstanding
between
Sathyaraj
and
Thankar.
The
director
then
moved
on
to
another
film
titled
Thendral.
But
the
duo
seem
to
have
solved
their
differences
during
the
shooting
of
Periyar,
where
Sathyarj
played
the
title
role
and
Thankar
cranked
the
camera.
Now
they
have
decided
to
join
their
hands
again
for
a
new
film.
Thankar
revealed
that
the
script
would
be
taken
from
one
of
his
famous
short
stories.
It
is
expected
of
Sathyaraj
to
take
up
more
meaningful
roles
following
the
success
of
Periyar.
He
has
received
lots
of
accolades
for
his
performance
in
the
film.
So,
he
has
taken
a
wish
step
by
agreeing
to
work
with
Thankar.
