Shankar team-up with Ajith

Usually Shankar takes a long gap after completing a film. Some times he extends the gap upto years. But after Anniyan, he has quickly accepted his next project Shivaji with the Super Star. Now Shankar may clinch a deal with Ajith for his dream project Robo(t). The title may be changed by the director for tax benefits.

Previously, the director planned this film with Kamal Hassan. Theis even made big publicity for the film. But soon, due to some differences between the director and Kamal, the project was dropped. It is said that the film will be based on the story En Iniya Iyanthira written by Sujatha few years ago in a weekly.

Now Shankar wants to give a new birth to this film with Ajith. It is expected that Shankar will formally announced this film soon after the release of Shivaji.
