Former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu and AIADMK supremo Selvi Jayalalithaa is known to be recluse to the world of entertainment ever since she started her political career. But for Shivaji, she overcame her self-imposed reclusion, and enjoyed the preview of the movie. The hero of the film, Rajini, and producers AVM Saravanan, M.S.Guhan also accompanied the leader during the preview show.
Rajini has been invited by almost all the political leaders to watch his much hyped and eagerly awaited film Shivaji, which was released worldwide yesterday.
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.Karunanidhi watched the movie on 12th June at the AVM a/c theater with his family. The TDP Chief, Chandrababu Naidu enjoyed the film at Hyderabad yesterday. Rajini also attended the show with the former Chief Minister. Now it was Jayalalithaa's turn. Usually she avoids such invitations, but for the first time, she accepted to attend the show yesterday evening at the AVM a/c theater.
She came along with her close associate Sasikala Natarajan to watch the movie. Security arrangements were tightened in the surrounding area due to her visit.
The actor came to the theater much earlier to receive the leader. After watched the movie, Jayalalithaa wished the actor a grand success for the film. Jayalalithaa said: "I have no doubts about the success of the film. Shivaji will be another mega hit film for brother Rajini. His style and performance is excellent. It is yet another blockbuster from the AVM house..."
Sasikala Natarajan also wished Rajini a grand success for the film.
