Shivaji pirated DVDs seized

The low quality pirated DVD copies of Shivaji have been seized by the Chennai Police two days ago.

On Saturday evening, the Chennai police raided a few DVD shops and printing press on the suspicion of pirated DVDs of new films including Shivaji. The police seized nearly 1300 CDs and DVDs of new films including Shivaji from the shops. Three people were arrested and they were sent jail for 15 days. The police in the sub urban areas are alerted to watch the culprits who are selling the DVDs on the road sides.

Meanwhile, the pirated DVDs of Shivaji Tamil version were seized in Bangalore too. The police didn't disclose the number of DVDs seized in the city. However, Gangaraju, the distributor of the film for Karnataka said that the Karnataka police had captured nearly 250 DVDs in Kolar and surrounded areas after the alert given by him.
