Superstar
Rajini's
Shivaji
is
now
available
for
$
4.95.
This
illegal
release
of
the
magnum
opus
has
spread
shockwaves
among
the
producer
and
exhibitors
of
Shivaji
all
over
the
world.
Though
the
quality
of
the
internet
version
is
very
poor,
browsers
have
been
keen
in
downloading
the
film
in
many
browsing
centers
at
Bangalore
and
Chennai.
The
film
has
been
released
in
more
than
1000
theaters
all
over
the
world
on
June
15th
and
is
still
running
to
packed
houses.
In
Chennai,
no
tickets
are
available
for
the
film
till
the
first
week
of
July.
In
Abhirami
Mega
Mall,
tickets
have
been
sold
out
even
for
the
second
week
of
July
.
In
Bengalooru,
some
fans
paid
even
Rs.1000
per
ticket
to
view
the
film.
Yet
another
site
also
released
the
full
version
of
Shivaji
on
the
net.
When
this
correspondent
queried
about
the
internet
release
of
Shivaji,
the
overseas
distributor
of
the
film,
Karunamoorthy
of
Ayngaran
International
said,
'we
have
not
given
any
right
to
the
above
said
portals
to
release
Shivaji
on
the
net.
I
suspect
somebody
has
recorded
the
film
in
a
theater
on
his
mobile
video
camera
and
uploaded
it
for
free
on
some
sites.
It
is
a
very
common
incident
abroad,
and
happened
for
many
big
films.
But
one
thing
is
for
sure,
a
viewer
won't
be
satisfied
with
the
poor
picture
quality
of
a
blockbuster
like
Shivaji.
Anyway,
such
things
must
be
avoided
at
all
costs...'
