March
16,
2007
Rajini
fans
are
getting
ready
to
watch
their
Super
Star's
never
before
mega
production,
Shivaji.
The
special
tokens
will
be
issued
to
them
for
watching
the
movie.
These
tokens
will
be
given
to
the
fans
who
come
to
watch
the
movie,
along
with
a
letter
by
the
area
President
of
Rajini
Fan
Club.
These
tokens
are
being
issued
to
the
fans
up
to
31
st
of
March
2007.
The
head
quarters
of
Rajini
Fan
Club
has
already
issued
a
notice
to
all
its
branches
regarding
the
issue
of
tokens,
a
week
ago.
According
to
the
Notice,
every
fan
will
be
eligible
for
get
only
one
token
at
a
cost
of
Rs.1600.
He
would
be
given
this
token
in
the
ticket
counters
of
theaters
where
Shivaji
will
be
screened.
They
can
get
20
tickets
for
a
token.
But
he
cannot
use
all
the
20
tickets
in
a
single
day.
Only
4
tickets
are
allowed
to
be
used
per
day.
Each

will
be
cost
Rs.
50
only
and
the

of
Rs.600
will
be
returned
to
the

after
a
month
and
they
will
later
disribute
it
to
the

Thousands
of
fans
rushed
to
the
Chennai
Ragavendra
Kalyana
Mandapam,
where
the
head
quarter
is
functioning,
for
collecting
their
tokens.
When
we
visited
the
Mandapam,
there
was
a
huge
crowd
at
the
main
gate.
They
did
not
bother
about
the
cost
of
the
token.
Many
had
tried
to
get
more
than
one
token.
Somebody
openly
commented
that
this
is
not
a
huge
amount
to
Rajini
fans.
They
feel
that
just
a
day
is
enough
to
recollect
their
investment.
Some
of
the
neighbours
also
approached
Rajini
fans
to
get
the
tokens
at
a
'premium'
price.
They
were
even
ready
to
pay
double
the
price.
According
to
the
Rajini
Fan
Club
sources,
the
film
will
be
released
in
more
than
300
theaters.
Multiplexes
like
Mayaajal
and
Inox
have
planned
to
show
the
Movie
in
all
their
6
and
4
screens
respectively.
Other
multiplexes
are
also
planning
the
same
way.
For
the
fans,
the
real
count
down
starts
for
Shivaji
from
the
moment
they
get
their
tokens.
But
there
is
no
confirmed
news
about
the
release
of
the
film
on
April
12th
as
planned.
Till
this
moment,
the
AVM
campus
has
not
announced
anything
about
the
Audio
release
of
their
film.
Sources
from
AVM
campus
said
that
the
post-production
work
of
the
film
is
still
going
on
and
the
producers
are
waiting
for
the
final
word
from
the
director
Shankar
for
any
further
announcements.
