Amidst
all
rumours,
AVM
Saravanan
confirmed
the
release
date
of
the
much
expected
Rajini
film
Shivaji
-
the
Boss.
According
to
him
the
film
will
be
scheduled
for
the
release
on
April
12,
just
2
days
prior
to
the
Tamil
New
Year.
Sources
say
that
the
release
date
is
actually
confirmed
by
the
Super
Star
in
accordance
with
the
advise
of
his
astrologer.
As
per
the
schedule,
the
film
will
be
released
on
Thursday,
which
is
a
favourable
day
for
Guru
Ragavendra.
The film will be released on the same day all over the World. Sources confirm that more than 600 prints will be taken for Shivaji, for the first time in India. The Telugu version of Shivaji made big business even more than a Chiranjeevi film. AVM will release the Tamil version directly in Kerala. For the first time, AVM officially confirmed that the Kerala rights of the film were sold out for more than Rs. 3 cr, which is an uphill task to reach even for a Mammooty or Lal film!
But nobody is ready to open their mouth about the 'share' of Rajini in Shivaji.
The audio launch of the film will be held on 7th of March. When we asked about the rumours of the pirated DVDs of Shivaji, Saravanan laughed and replied, Don't take these kind of rumours seriously". But still this rumor is going on. Some people claimed that they had seen the pirated version and narrated the film scene by scene!
