Simbu selects Genilia in place of Trisha

The names of at least half-a-dozen heroines have appeared in media as the likely pair with Simbu for his film Kaala(i) with Tarun Gopi. The latest name is that of Trisha. Simbu himself announced her name 2 weeks ago. He said that Trisha has consented to act in the film as his pair. But there is no response from the actress's side. When media persons asked her about this project, Trisha replied that she was considering the offer for the sake of her once schoolmate, Simbu. But now ,Simbu has announced that he has completed talks with the actress Genilia, who will be acting as the lead lady of Kaala. Rekha is said to be acting in a vital role in the film.
