Bengali
beauty
Kamalini
Mukherjee
has
been
sacked
suddenly
from
Karu
Pazhaniappan's
new
project
Pirivom
Santhippom,
which
has
Cheran
in
the
lead.
Sneha
has
taken
her
place,
as
suggested
by
the
hero
of
the
film.
It
may
be
recalled
that
Sneha
is
one
of
the
heroines
in
Cheran's
blockbuster
film
Autograph.
Kamalini
made
her
debut
in
Tamil
against
legendary
actor
Kamal
Hassan
in
Vettayadu
Vilayadu
under
Gowtham
Menon's
direction.
But
after
the
moderate
success
of
the
movie,
directors
seem
to
have
lost
interest
on
her.
She
has
been
concentrating
more
in
Telugu
and
Malayalam
films
for
quite
a
while
now.
She
has
done
three
films
in
Telugu
including
the
hit
numbers
Godavari
and
Classmates.
She
also
did
the
sister
character
in
director
Lawrence's
film
Style.
There
are
many
reasons
behind
the
dismissal
of
Kamalini
from
Pirivom
Santhippom.
When
the
project
was
in
the
discussion
level
itself,
Cheran
was
against
selecting
Kamalini
but
Karu
Pazhaniappan
managed
to
convince
him
and
signed
the
actress.
But
it
is
said
that
the
actress
did
not
co-operate
with
the
hero
and
demanded
high
salary
too.
Cheran
has
been
tolerating
with
the
actress
just
because
of
the
director
and
has
attended
the
first
schedule
shooting
also.
After
seeing
the
rush
of
the
first
schedule,
the
director
is
disappointed
with
the
performance
of
the
actress.
In
many
scenes
the
actress
looked
more
matured
than
the
'middle
aged'
Cheran!
Meanwhile,
Cheran
spoke
to
Sneha,
one
of
his
favourite
heroines
from
the
days
of
Autograph,
to
replace
Kamalini.
She
is
special
to
the
director
too,
as
she
acted
in
his
debut
movie
Parthiban
Kanavu.
She
did
the
dual
role
in
the
film
against
Srikanth.
It
is
said
that
Sneha
immediately
accepted
the
offer
to
act
in
Pirivom
Santhippom
even
without
asking
her
payment
details!
