Who Is The Super Star? Rajini Or Amitabh?

There is a debate still going on about the Super Star of India.

Though majority of North Indian viewers also favour our super star Rajini, the actor is always favouring Amithabh Bachchan. Last week when the controversy started about whowas the bigger star, Rajni said on national television: "Amitji is the emperor, while I'm just a king and he is much bigger than me!"

But the box office results say something else. Last week, Rajini's Shivaji and Amitabh's Jhoom Barabar Jhoom opened worldwide simultaneously. The box office results of both these films have shown that our Super Star Rajini is much bigger than Amitabh. The world wide opening for Shivaji was more than 100 percent, while JBJ could muster only 40 to 50%.

On the release day in Mumbai and Delhi, Shivaji opened 100 percent, but JBJ failed to achieve even the half mark. All the way our super star stole a march over Big-B. In fact JBJ produced by the number one production house in the country Yashraj, has bombed and even failed to take an opening!

In the south where distributors had earlier requested Yashraj to postpone the release, it was totally swept away by the tsunami of Shivaji. In Chennai there is no news about the release of JBJ and in Mumbai and Delhi, Shivaji made a big wave among the viewers!
