Jyothika gets green signal from Surya

Surya, who is really lucky in having a spouse like Jyothika, one of the most talented and beautiful actresses, has clearly said that he has no objection in allowing Jyothika to continue her acting career.

Yesterday, he met the press men during a break while shooting for his forthcoming film Vel at Pazhani. The actor said: 'I'm one of the luckiest persons in the world in having my lover as a life partner. After our marriage, many friends have been persuading me to allow Jyothika to continue her acting career. In fact, the decision of saying goodbye to acting was taken by Jyothika only. I never compelled her for taking such a decision. If she would like to continue her career, I will never object to that...'

It might be recalled that at the time of Surya - Jyothika marriage reception, actor Shivakumar, the father- in- law of Jyothika, categorically declared that she will quit acting. He said that the actress has already achieved enough in her career, and henceforth, she would concentrate only on family affairs. Since Shivakumar has faith in an orthodox family system, it can only be expected that the actor will never allow his daughter- in- law to enter the tinsel world again.

Will Jyothika come to the floors again? The answer to this question rests not with Surya, but with his father Shivakumar.
