Producer
Oscar
Ravichandiran
had
withdrawn
his
complaint
against
actor
Surya
yesterday
after
an
explanation
given
by
the
actor.
The
producer
said
that
he
is
satisfied
with
Surya's
reply
and
has
decided
to
settle
the
issue
amicably
out
of
the
council
'Panchayat'.
Earlier,
Ravichandiran
had
complaint
to
Producers'
Council
alleging
that
Surya
has
meted
step-motherly
treatment
to
his
project
Vaaranam
Aayiram
and
took
up
Hari's
Vel,
which
was
started
after
his
film.
The
Council
then
announced
for
an
inquiry
into
the
matter
on
Monday
evening.
However,
Surya
gave
an
explanation
to
the
issue
and
conveyed
positive
signals
to
the
producer.
He
said
that
he
is
keen
on
taking
up
Vaaranam
Aayiram.
He
added
that
he
decided
to
complete
Vel
first
only
after
getting
approval
of
the
director
of
Vaaranam
Aayiram.
In
the
mean
time,
Oscar
Ravichandiran
and
Surya
discussed
about
the
situation
yesterday
and
decided
to
settle
the
issue
amicably.
It
is
said
that
director
Gautham
Menon
also
asked
the
producer
to
withdraw
the
complaint
from
the
council.
Yesterday
evening,
Oscar
Ravichandiran
gave
another
letter
to
the
council
about
his
withdrawal
of
his
complaint
against
Surya.
When
we
contacted
the
producer
for
further
clarifications
on
the
issue,
he
said,
"A
few
misunderstanding
between
the
actor
and
me
has
led
to
this
bitter
developments.
Now,
Surya
has
cleared
his
stand.
We
are
planning
to
shoot
the
film
with
alternative
dates
given
by
the
actor.
It
is
true
that
Surya
is
very
eager
to
complete
our
project
also."
