Raghuvaran to play Dr. Kalam

Actor Raghuvaran will play President Abdul Kalam in his forthcoming film Thodakkam. The director of the film has put a lot of effort into Raghuvaran's hairstyle and looks so that he looks like the President. The film itself will deal with terrorism. Terrorism being the subject of the film, Dr. Abdul Kalam's role gets more significance in the films context. The film will be titled Thodakkam.

The actor himself confessed, "Playing the role of the President of India is not easy. I am satisfied with my performance in this film. It is my honour to be given this rare opportunity." President Kalam is the only president so far who has won the love of all citizens - young and old.
