Prakash
Raj
has
made
the
audio
launch
of
his
film
Vellithirai
with
a
difference
like
his
films.
The
entrance
of
Taj
Ballroom,
the
star
hotel
was
looking
like
an
old
touring
talkie,
which
was
found
in
50's
and
60's,
in
rural
Tamil
Nadu
with
posters
from
the
films
of
legendary
MGR
and
Sivaji.
Vellithirai,
the
remake
of
Mohan
Lal
starred
Malayalam
classic
super
hit
Udayananu
Tharam
has
been
produced
by
Prakash
Raj's
home
production
house
along
with
giant
entertainment
companies
like
Moser
Baer
and
Times
Group.
Prakash
Raj
and
Prithviraj
play
the
lead
role
and
Gopika
is
the
heroine
of
the
film.
Directed
by
Viji,
the
script
writer
of
Mozhi,
the
film
has
the
music
of
GV
Prakash.
The
way
Prakash
Raj
released
the
audio
made
the
function
noteworthy.
The
heroes
of
this
function
were
MS
Viswanathan
and
TK
Ramamoorthy,
the
legendary
musical
duo
popularly
known
as
Viswanathan
Ramamoorthy.
Prakash
Raj
used
his
own
stage
to
glorify
the
legends
ruled
the
world
of
film
music
for
nearly
30
years
with
outstanding
hits
and
completed
an
amazing
1700
films
to
their
credit!
Everything
in
the
audio
launch
went
in
a
right
track
till
SP
Balasubramanyam,
the
legendary
singer
who
was
introduced
by
MSV
in
early
seventies,
went
on
the
stage.
In
the
name
of
glorifying
MSV,
the
singer
has
deliberately
insulted
other
talented
musician
Illayaraaja,
the
universal
musical
genius
of
our
time.
SPB
says,
"No
other
musician
has
survived
in
this
film
world
without
using
MSV's
tunes
directly
or
indirectly.
The
main
source
of
tunes
and
music
for
all
the
musicians
in
our
days
is
what
MSV
and
Ramamoorthy
spitted
earlier…" But
everyone
could
know
that
this
singer
become
popular
just
because
of
Illayaraaja,
who
is
giving
him
chances
for
the
past
32
years!
Another
person
who
made
the
stage
for
draining
his
personal
angry
over
Illayaraaja
was
Vairamuthu,
the
person
who
got
a
life
only
because
of
Illayaraaja.
Generally
poets
known
for
their
sweet
lies
which
are
never
hurt
others.
But
Vairamuthu's
hateful
speech
forced
most
of
the
crowd
to
walkout
from
the
Hall.
In
his
speech,
Vairamuthu
said
that
he
never
heard
any
other
musician's
songs
except
Viswanathan
–
Ramamoorthy
in
his
life!
"From
my
childhood
days
to
till
date,
MSV's
music
only
traveling
with
me.
I
never
accept
anyone
of
the
present
musicians
as
musical
genius,
except
MSV.
Today's
music
is
nothing
but
the
pichai
offered
by
MSV
and
Ramamoorthy!"
Interestingly
no
one
has
made
a
single
word
on
the
film
Vellithirai
and
its
music.
MSV
in
his
speech
said
that
it
was
fans
and
admirers
that
made
his
music
popular
and
everlasting.
MSV
says,
"I
want
only
people's
recognition
that
is
the
real
award.
If
Good
meter,
matter
and
melody
are
there
in
a
song,
every
generation
will
relish
it.
Good
music
is
ageless.
I
never
get
jealous
on
Illayaraaja
when
he
becomes
my
successor
and
even
goes
beyond
that
level.
In
fact
I
feel
proud
of
him…"
Mohan
Lal,
the
Malayalam
superstar
is
the
only
person
who
delivered
his
speech
perfectly
and
sensibly
without
any
prejudice.
He
had
cancelled
his
shootings
just
only
to
attend
this
function.
The
actor
said,
"It
is
a
great
honour
to
be
present
at
a
function
to
honour
the
great
maestros.
I
consider
it
is
an
auspicious
moment
and
an
amazing
evening."
