Veyyil at Shanghai Film Festival

Tamil film Veyyil has been selected for screening at Shanghai Film Festival in China. Very recently, this film was screened at the Cannes film festival and was applauded by the viewers. The producer of the film Shankar and director Vasantha Balan are just back from Cannes after participating the screening event. Now, one more foreign trip awaits the team of Veyyil.

This film featuring Bharath, Bhavana and Pasupathy in the lead roles is a big commercial hit in Tamil. Now, it has got a place at the Shanghai Film Festival, as the it has been selected for screening under the foreign film category. It will be screened on June 19.

Asked about this honour, the director of the film Vasantha Balan said, "I never expect such an honour for my film at Cannes. Now, I've got the news about its selection for Shanghai. I would like to thank director Shankar for giving this great opportunity."
