The sudden news of Yuvan Shankar Raja's divorce with his wife has taken many people aback. The people who are his father Ilayaraja and his music are shocked by this news. What is even more shocking is the reasons behind the divorce. The couple is said to have parted ways in effect over a year back. Despite sleeping under the same roof, they have been living separate lives.

It is according to the knowledge of many that Yuvan Shankar Raja stays with his father Ilayaraja. But he has moved out and has been staying in a separate house in Alwarpet. Because they couple married with opposition from the family, they faced a lot of trouble when they came top live together under the same roof as one big happy family. When she told her husband Yuvan this, he didn't take it lightly.

The other reason for the sudden break up of the couple is because of Yuvan's relationship with Simbu. Yuvan and Simbu like travelling to Thailand because of the entertainment avenues there. While staying in the country, they regularly visit certain resorts and spas on the islands in Thailand and thereby developed a few bad habits, which were leaked into the press.

Similarly from the other side, Yuvan's friends Sujaya for being a little too friendly with the men around her. When they took the decision to officially separate, Sujaya demanded a lump sum money, something which Yuvan granted her giving her a three bedroom house in Nungambakkam in addition to the lump sum of money.

Well Yuvan, you should be giving your wife as much importance as you give your music.
