Balu Mahendra to direct a new film!

Veteran filmmaker Balu Mahendra will wield the megaphone again after a gap of four years. The 27th film of Balu has been titled as Kodai Vidumurai (Summer Holidays) and the same will be launched soon. Balu known for his half beat commercial ventures like Moonram Pirai, Veedu and Marupadiyum has directed his last film Athu Oru Kana Kaalam four years ago with Danush-Priyamani in the lead. After this film Balu haven't got any offer to direct films in Tamil.

Now he prepared a script focused on the story of young lovers. The director is looking for suitable new faces for the lead roles. Apart from the lead pair, there is a woman character, which is playing a pivotal role in the script. Sources revealed that the director approached Maalavika, the actress known for her seductive appearance in item numbers. But the actress is still tight lipped about her acceptance for the same.

Balu Mahendra told that he would came out with the list of complete cast and crew once he has fixed a date for the film's launch.
