Hindu Makkal Katchi demands ban on Divya!

Hindu Makkal Katchi, a political outfit in Tamil Nadu has urged Nadigar Sangam president Sarath Kumar to impose ban on Kuthu Ramya alias Divya from acting in Tamil films.

In a statement, the state organizing secretary of the party Kannan said, "The Nadigar Sangam announced earlier that it would take severe actions against artists those who did not turn up for the sensational fast organized by the Tamil film world in the Hogenakkal water issue.

But leading actress Divya was a notable absentee in that fast. Not only that, the actress had attended the fast that organized by the Kannada film personalities against Tamil Nadu.

She has also delivered a speech in that meet using vulgar words against Tamilians. So the association should not allow the actress to continue in Tamil films. If Sarath Kumar fails to take any action against this actress, our party wouldn't allow the release of the film in Tamil Nadu".
