Bharathiraja
is
the
only
director
to
have
brought
a
new
trend
in
Tamil
Cinema
in
the
end
of
the
seventies.
He
had
used
the
remote
villages,
bearing
the
smell
of
the
soil
to
capture
the
real
lifestyle
of
the
Tamilians.
But
now,
the
same
veteran
is
suffering
to
release
his
latest
movie
Bommalattom
due
to
the
inflow
of
Corporate
companies
in
film
business.
A
couple
of
days
ago,
the
director
met
the
press
at
Four
Frames
to
brief
the
reason
behind
the
extraordinary
delay
in
releasing
his
Bommalattom,
a
bilingual
in
Hindi
and
Tamil.
The
man
known
for
his
quick
emotions,
said,
"I've
been
in
the
film
industry
for
the
past
35
years.
Though
I
know
to
take
good
movies,
I
don't
know
the
business
techniques
of
the
industry.
In
these
recent
days
a
number
of
corporate
companies
have
been
invading
the
industry
like
crocodiles.
They
will
stealthily
move
and
eat
you
up.
Compared
to
them
our
traditional
distributors
are
like
lizards,
which
move
around
but
are
harmless."
Bharathiraja
further
said
that
this
film
is
one
of
the
best
he
has
made
so
far.
"Though
the
genre
is
thriller,
it
is
a
different
kind
of
movie
from
my
earlier
ones
Sigappu
Rojakkal
or
Kaithiyin
Dairy.
This
is
the
best
screenplay
I
have
ever
written.
Just
watch
the
climax,
it
is
stunning.
It
is
a
crime
thriller
based
on
the
tinsel
world."
Nag
Ravi,
a
NRI
who
loves
cinema
a
lot
will
release
the
movie
next
week
throughout
the
world.
