A whole different ball game for bhavana

Girl next door bhavana, the heroine known for her decent image, is trying to break out from her image to maintain a steady market. For the first time, she will act in the role of a basketball player - in her forthcoming film Jayam Kondan. Directed by debutant Kannan, the film has Vinay in the lead role. Lekha Washington, the actress who was dropped from Simbu's Kettavan, is playing second fiddle.

Usually bhavana plays a poor or a rich girls role in her movies. Her fashion statements in all her films are not all that trendy. One thing that is common in all her films is that she has failed to capture the imagination of moviegoers. Before she is forced to go in damage repair mode, bhavana seems to be going for a image makeover.

To make her on screen presence more appealing, the actress has learnt how to play basketball with the help of a coach for three days. She is also planning to appoint a new fashion consultant to change her fashion statement drastically.
