Devi Sri Prasad's dream comes true

Devi Sri Prasad, the music director known for peppy numbers in Telugu and Tamil industry, is scoring the background music for Kamal Hassan's magnum opus Dasavatharam. Earlier it was said that AR Rehman would score the music for the same.

Originally, the project was started with Bollywood fame Himesh Reshammiya and he also composed all the songs, but later he politely turned down to do the BGM as he is getting busy in many Hindi movies as hero. So Kamal and the director KS Ravikumar have decided to go for Devi Sri Prasad to do the BGM for the movie.

He is also asked by the director and actor to digitalize the songs originally composed by Himesh. Earlier, it was said that AR Rehman, the music director of Kamal's next project Marmayogi is said to compose the BGM and digitalization of the songs.

For Devi Sri Prasad, it was a long time dream to compose music for a Kamal movie. At present he is working in many projects in Tamil like, Santosh Subramaniyam, Kandhasamy and Vijay-Prabhu Deva's yet to be titled film.
