crew
meaningfully.
The
director
passed
away
when
shooting
was
almost
eighty
percent
completed.
But
his
courageous
team
came
together
to
complete
the
film
in
stipulated
time.
In
a
recently
held
press
meet
of
Dham
Dhoom,
they
screened
few
songs
and
impressive
trailer
of
the
film
and
revealed
their
pain
and
efforts
they
managed
to
complete
the
film.
Lead
actors
Jayam
Ravi,
Kangana
Ranaut
from
Bollywood
and
Lakshmi
Rai
spoke
on
the
occasion
and
shared
their
experiences
with
late
Jeeva.
Ravi
described
Jeeva
as
a
rare
genius.
He
further
said,
"The
first
half
of
the
film
is
the
slow
and
quiet
life
in
the
village
relating
to
Dham
in
the
title.
The
second
half
is
all
Dhoom,
with
high
speed
in
every
aspect
of
camera,
stunts
and
editing."
The
emotionally
looked
Lakshmi
Rai
says,
"I
owe
to
Jeeva
my
re
entry
into
Tamil
films.
He
gave
me
a
new
image
and
it
was
a
pleasure
to
shoot
with
the
unit."
In
his
long
emotional
speech,
music
director
Harris
Jayaraj
said,
"I
didn't
realise
that
I
would
be
doing
the
music
of
this
film
by
myself
because
I
usually
would
sit
and
do
it
in
collaboration
with
Jeeva.
It
was
a
very
emotional
moment
for
me
today
when
I
saw
the
songs
being
completed
and
screened."
Actress
Kangana,
who
forays
into
Tamil
as
Shenbagam
in
this
film,
said,
"I
really
miss
him
though
I
only
shot
with
him
for
20
days.
I
loved
his
honesty
towards
work
and
the
compassion
he
had
for
his
unit
members.
There
was
so
much
more
I
wanted
to
learn
from
him.
After
seeing
his
working
style
and
approach,
I
had
decided
to
continue
my
career
in
Tamil.
But
he
is
no
more
now."
Now
the
film
has
completed
by
the
second
unit
Cameraman

Director
B
