Padikkathavan shooting starts

Dhanush's next movie Padikkathavan shooting was formally launched in the floors of Chennai Studios. Featuring Tamanna opposite to him, the movie is directed by Suraj and produced by Vijaya Vahini Productions.

Padikkathavan is the title of Superstar Rajini's yesteryear blockbuster movie and Dhanush got the title from its original owner N Veerasamy with the help of his father-in-law Rajini. It is the story of how an illiterate youth becomes a business magnet in life with rightly applying his intelligence and presence of mind.

Dhanush said, "I'm sure that Suraj's script has all the stuff and worth to become a super hit. I hope it wouldn't spoil the name of the original one."
