Geeta Basra to debut in Tamil

The Train heroine Geeta Basra will make her debut in Tamil Cinema with Sundar C starrer new film Vaada. The popular model turned actress came into this project accidentally. When Sundar noticed her photograph in an ad, he told his director Venkatesh to approach her for this venture. That time both Sundar and his director dod not know that she had already done a couple of movies in Hindi.

Vaada would also feature Vivek, Jayaram, Asish Vidyarthi, Kalabhavan Mani and Sayaji Shinde in prominent roles. Venkatesh, who is currently shooting Durai with Arjun, will direct the film. According to the director, the film would start on August 16th in Rishikesh Sivan Koil. This is the first time a Tamil film will be launched at this holy venue!
