Kamal-Mani launch Jayam Kondan Audio

The audio of Sathya Movies and Sathya Jyothi Films Jayam Kondan was released amidst the glittering stars of Tamil Cinema a couple of days ago at Sathyam Cinemas. Produced by TG Thyagarajan, the film has Vinay, Bhavana and Lekha Washington in the lead. Lekha plays the role of Vinay's sister in the film.

The trailer and two songs were shown in the function and later the audio was formally launched by Kamal Hassan. Ace director Mani Ratnam received the CD. Rama Narayanan, KRG, Sarath Kumar, Abhirami Ramanathan, Kalaipuli Sekaran, Jayam Ravi, Bhavana, Lekha Washington and hero Vinay were present in the audio release. For Bhavana, it was the very first time that she was attending an audio launch of her own film.

In his speech, Kamal Hassan stressed that the experience of the pioneering producers like Rama Narayanan, Veerappan, TG Thyagarajan in Tamil Cinema was invaluable and must be tapped by the coming generations. Rama Narayanan, Veerappan, the producer of the film gave an emotional speech in this function. He says, "It is very hard to see a disciplined producer like TG Thyagarajan in the film world in nowadays."

In his speech, Jayam Ravi said, "I'm very proud to share the dais with my matinee idol Kamal Hassan and my all time favourite filmmaker Mani Ratnam. I will be always surprised with the simplicity of Mani Ratnam and at a stage I changed all my attitudes after seeing his simplicity. An actor must learn many things from Mani sir."
