Jayam Ravi: One man army

S.P.Jananathan has started the shooting of his next film titled Peranmai for Ayngaran International on Wednesday without much fanfare and pooja.

It was reported that the film was shelved, as the producers were concentrating on the big budgeted Rajinikanth's Robot. But the shooting of the film has started in the interior forest of Mancholai, Pabanasam and Ambasamudram in Southern Tamilnadu.

Jayam Ravi is doing an all out action film with Peranmai. However, the five heroines for the film are yet to be signed.

The director revealed that the film is a complete action film with good moral and vision. Jananathan said that the film has Jayam Ravi playing a one-man-army kind of role similar to that of Sylvester Stallone's in Rambo series. He fights for a cause in Southern districts of Tamilnadu.

Cameraman N.K Ekambaram and S.R Sathish Kumar are using state of art cameras imported from Germany to shoot this film, which includes dangerous stunt scenes in the forests. It has music scored by Vidhyasagar.
