'Economics
is
what
Economists
do,'
is
one
of
the
famous
but
comical
definitions
for
Economics
in
practice
for
years.
It
is
applicable
to
the
tinsel
world
too.
Here,
cinema
is
what
the
cine
people
do,
for
many
decades.
If
an
action
movie
has
clicked
well,
all
others
follow
the
same
theme
like
the
flock
of
sheep
even
without
thinking
the
alternatives.
Very
few
think
of
the
change.
Kamal
is
one
such
perfectionist
cum
trend
setter.
Kamal
is
an
all
rounder.
Yes,
the
one
and
only
successful
all
rounder
of
our
time
in
the
film
industry.
He
is
the
inspiration
for
most
of
the
good
changes
in
the
film
industry
for
the
past
three
decades.
But
it
seems
that
the
film
industry
is
not
using
this
genius
properly
all
along
his
career.
He
has
experienced
bitter
moments
with
some
of
his
producers
in
the
past.
With
Kalaipuli
Thanu,
AM
Rathnam
and
now
Oscar
Ravichandiran
also
joined
in
the
unwanted
line
up!
Yes!
Once
again
the
legendary
actor
may
experience
bitter
moments
from
the
sets
of
Dasavatharam
after
completing
all
his
works
for
the
same,
in
which
he
performed
10
different
roles,
just
because
of
the
producer's
'irritating
statements'
(as
quoted
by
a
source)
on
his
own
even
without
consulting
the
actor!!
Originally,
Dasavatharam
was
planned
to
release
in
May
2007
along
with
Superstar
Rajini's
Shivaji!
After
this,
there
were
many
release
dates
were
announced
and
later
conveniently
forgotten
by
both
the
producer
and
media.
Finally
Kamal
opened
his
mouth
and
announced
that
the
film
would
hit
the
screens
on
Pongal
2008
without
fail.
Remember,
he
told
this
in
a
function
organized
by
him
to
felicitate
poet
Puviyarasu,
who
won
the
Sahithya
Academy
Award.
But
after
a
few
days,
Oscar
Ravichandiran
made
a
statement
that
the
film
had
been
postponed
to
April
and
invited
some
media
men,
who
were
in
his
close
wing
and
showed
a
song
and
some
of
the
clippings
of
the
film
even
without
the
knowledge
of
Kamal.
After
few
days,
he
announced
that
the
film
would
be
on
screen
for
April-14.
After
a
couple
of
week,
Ravichandiran
announced
that
he
has
invited
Jackie
Chan
for
the
audio
launch
of
the
film
on
March
14th.
When
media
persons
queried
the
actor
in
Hridhyaraagam
press
meet
about
Chan's
arrival,
Kamal
told
that
he
had
not
been
informed
about
that.
In
fact,
it
was
big
'news'
to
Kamal
on
his
own
film
informed
by
the
media
men.
Some
of
the
Tamil
film
industry
sources
say
that
the
producer
invited
Jackie
Chan
on
his
own
without
a
pre
discussion
with
Kamal,
who
spent
almost
3
long
years!
Now,
once
again
the
producer
himself
announced
that
the
audio
launch
also
postponed
to
some
time
in
April.
Now
the
film's
release
for
this
summer
is
also
become
a
big
question
now.
For
a
big
film
like
Dasavatharam,
a
gap
of
at
least
2
months
is
must
for
the
pick
up
of
its
audio.
Another
reason
for
Kamal's
worry
is
the
beginning
of
local
Cricket
season.
In
May,
IPL
is
going
to
launch
its
first
ever
'Twenty:
20'
series
(a
total
of
50
matches
in
2
months)
with
a
bang
in
all
over
the
country.
So
Kamal
is
afraid
a
little
bit
of
the
inflow
of
the
viewers
to
the
Halls.
As
said
by
one
of
his
close
friend,
at
present
Kamal
has
totally
came
out
from
the
project
and
it
is
Ravichandiran,
who
completely
handed
over
the
movie
to
CG
outsourcing
companies
to
redesign
the
film
with
more
graphical
works.
Now,
the
actor's
complete
concentration
is
on
his
forthcoming
multilingual
projects
Kandhahar
(with
Mohan
Lal)
and
Marmayogi
(in
association
with
Walt
Disney).
When
we
contacted
Oscar
Ravichandiran
and
his
brother
Ramesh
Babu
to
comment
on
this,
they
simply
ruled
out
all
these
things
and
said
that
the
understanding
between
them
and
the
actor
is
'perfect'!
We
too
pray
for
the
same
and
appeals
everyone
in
the
industry
to
give
due
respect
to
the
great
personality
of
Indian
Cinema,
like
Kamal!
