Karunaas in remake of Vadkku Nokki Yanthiram

Now Karunaas, one of the leading comedians in Tamil Cinema, is now joining the list of Vadivelu, Vivek and Ganja Karuppu. He has signed a film to play as hero after a long discussion with his well wishers.

There is a sentiment in Tamil Cinema, which always works out negatively when comedians turn as heroes. Goundamani, Vadivelu, Vivek and Ganja were lost their grip in the Industry only after they launched themselves as heroes. Keeping this in mind most of the comedians refused to act in the lead roles in the initial stages.

But sometimes they accepted to play the roles just to see them in larger than life roles once in their life time. In that way, only Karunaas accepts to do the role as hero in the remake of Malayalam hit Vadakku Nokki Yanthiram. He playes the role that Srinivasan did in that movie. The other cast and crew details yet to be announced.

Says Karunaas, "I know my appearance and capacity and even analyze myself better than any other critic. I accept to do this role just because the nativity of the character. But I will continue and enjoy my role as a comedian in Tamil Cinema and continue the same in future."
