CM watches Uliyin Osai

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi watched Uliyin Osai amidst his hectic schedule a few days ago. Since the film is based on his short story Saarapallam Samundi which he has written in the early 60's, Karunanidhi showed a lot of intrest in the making of Uliyin Osai.

Produced by Thiruvottiyur SP Murugesan, the film has Keerthi Chawla, Suja, Vineeth and Sarath Babu in lead roles. Writer Illavenil will make his debut as a director in this movie. Isaignani Illayaraja scores music with extraordinary care and has included many first times in the films music.

The story revolves around the historical love of King Raja Raja Chozhan of Chozha dynasty and the mystery surrounding the famous Big Temple of Tanjavure. The shooting of the film was completed a week ago and Karunanidhi wanted to see the rushes of the movie. Few days back, a special preview has arranged for Karunanidhi. He became emotional while watching the rushes. Particularly in the climax, the CM appreciated the director for his efforts to give the exact feel give by the CM in his story.
