Kunal commits suicide!

Actor Kunal who made his debut in Tamil with Kathalar Dhinam (1999) directed by Kathir, has committed suicide at his flat in Andheri, Mumbai. He was said to be depressed during the last few months due to his love failiure and lack of film oppurtunities.

Kunal a north Indian has done about a dozen films in Tamil as a young hero, but none of his films were hits. His last release was Nanbanin Kathali directed by Kicha.

It may be recalled that his heroine Monal, who acted in films like Parvai Onre Podhume and Paesadha Kannum Paesumae also committed suicide few years back due to her love failure with a dance master.

Mumbai police will investigate further on the actor's suicide. Film fraternities of South including director Rama Naarayanan, Kathir and producer RB Choudhri condole for the demise of Kunal.
