Kuselan controversies resolved!

Pyramid Saimira, the sole proprietor entitled to Kuselan's worldwide rights, announced yesterday that all disputes related to the movie Kuselan have been settled amicably between the Exhibitors and Producers of the film.

S. Saminathan, Managing Director of Pyramid Saimira announced this in a press meet held in Chennai.

According to Saminathan, in the first phase, the company had compensated for the loss incurred in the theaters where Pyramid had directly released the film. In the second phase, the South Arcot and Chengalpattu area distributors and exhibitors who came forward for the settlement were compensated.

Issues involving exhibitors and distributors of North Arcot, Coimbatore, Trichy and Thirunelveli were finalized on Monday.

In his sharp reply to a question about the drop of Kamal's Marmayogi due to the loss of Kuselan, Saminathan categorically denied that all these were rumours. "We have postponed Marmayogi for the time being, but will resume work soon...", Saminathan says.

Distributors association head Kalaipuli Shekar, distributors Thirupur Subramaniam, Rajamannar, Pyramid Srinivasan and Kavithalaya Kandhasamy were present in the press meet.
