Kuselan countdown starts in the US

Though the project has started like a low budgeted quickie venture, the actor who played the lead role made it as a magnum opus of the year. Yes, he is none other than the one and only Superstar of the country Rajinikanth.

The total business of the movie has already reached Rs.100 crores (both domestic and overseas) and the satellite rights have been procured by Kalaignar TV for a whopping price that is few million rupees higher than Kamal's Dasavatharam.

Kuselan is the first ever Tamil film releasing in 100 plus theaters in the US. The distributor of the film in US (on behalf of Saimira) Jayavel Murugan says in an interview that even the non Tamilians and Americans are also showing great interest for reserving the tickets after seeing the publicity of Kuselan.

KS Sakthi Kumar, a NRI settled in Detroit said to our correspondent, "It is amazing to see some of the Americans enter the halls, which are going to release Kuselan in next week and booked their tickets for 120 dollars to watch the film in the first day itself. In theaters, Kuselan opening day tickets are almost sold out for a whopping price (Ranging from $120 to 200)."

Not only Rajini, but his true fans are also very eager to see and taste the hattrick hit in the series of Chandramukhi and Shivaji.
