Kuselan shooting starts
Kuselan has Rajinikanth playing a Superstar. Pasupathy plays the role of barber, a school days friend of the Superstar and Meena plays the role of wife of Pasupathy. Vadivel is playing the role of a competitive barber to Pasupathy, who runs a modern saloon just opposite to Pasupathi's old one. Livingston and MS Baskar play important roles in the film. Prabhu will appear in the role of a policeman who escorts the Superstar while he is in the shooting.
Initially, Rajini was firm in his stand to appear only in 10 scenes in this film. He confirmed this at the film's launch day and said that his role is just 25 percent only. But now Vasu convinced the actor a lot and now Rajini is going to sing 2 duets with Nayantara and appears in an intro cum philosophical song.
The fourth song will be a sad melody, which is to be picturised on Pasupathy and Meena and the final number is the special song of the film. In this song, all the leading stars of Tamil Cinema including Kamal Hassan will appear along with our Superstar. There are 2 stunt sequences also created for Rajini in the revised script of Vasu.
Rajini gave his dates up to April 4th for the first schedule of the film and the second and final schedule will be shot after April 15th in Pollachi with Rajini.
