Mallika Kapoor's wish to become an item girl

Usually item girls in films wish to become heroines of leading heroes. But Mallika Kapoor, the Delhi model turned actress, is different in this aspect. She openly requests filmmakers to include her as an item dancer with as much as minimal costumes.

When we met the actress in the sets of Anthony Yaar?, she told that she had bored with routine lead roles in films (remember she is just appeared in 4 films as heroine in Tamil.). "Performing an item girl is my wish right from the beginning of my career and it is very interesting too. I would like to dance for a song at least in any of the other heroine's films," Mallika says.

She is playing as a fishery girl in Anthony Yaar? in which Shaam is her hero. The other film she is donning the lead role is Ganga Kavery.
