Mani Rathnam directs Kamal

The latest buzz doing rounds in Tamil Cinema is that Kamal Hassan might play a cameo role in director Mani Rathnam's next movie in which Abhishek and Aishwarya play the lead roles.

Few weeks ago, it was said that actor Vikram had to play the role both in Hindi and Tamil simultaneously. Now, after Vikram opts out from the film, Mani has approached Kamal for the same, a source hints.

The movie would have musical score by AR Rehman. Kamal Hassan has been approached to do a prominent character in the film. Mani Rathnam and Kamal Hassan had last worked together in Nayagan, nearly 20 years back and the film created new history in Tamil Cinema Industry.
