Kamal's lavish plan for Marmayogi launch

Though the producers of Marmayogi, Pyramid Saimira not in the mood to spend lavishly on the launch of Marmayogi, Kamal Hassan, the actor cum director of the film, is firm in his stand to launch the movie in Mumbai in grand manner. According to the sources, the actor gave a budget of Rs. 1 crore for the launch, including the screening of a sneak trailer on the film's cast and crew. Kamal assured the producers that he would take care of the expenses.

Kamal has already signed a contract with the production house to make the film on first copy basis with the budget of Rs.80 crores. Now the company is confused whether the actor would include the film launch cost in the budget or charged separately. Sources say that the actor has already received the cheque for Rs.5 crores as advance last week and the balance amount would be disbursed by the company stage by stage after the launch.

Kamal planned to visit some of the African locations including Ethiopia to give different colour to this historical film.
