The
emergency
meeting
of
the
South
Indian
Film
Artists
Association
will
be
held
in
Chennai
on
Tuesday
(today)
to
discuss
further
action
against
the
Kannada
Film
Industry's
decision
to
ban
the
Superstar
Rajinikanth's
films
in
the
state.
The
meeting
to
be
presided
over
by
Sarath
Kumar
will
discuss
among
various
issues
the
necessary
action
to
be
taken
against
several
actors
and
actresses,
who
did
not
turn
up
for
the
protest
organized
by
Nadigar
Sangam
last
Friday.
Apart
from
this,
they
will
discuss
on
the
Karnataka
filmdom's
decision
to
ban
release
of
Rajinikanth's
films
in
future
in
the
state.
A
couple
of
days
before
the
Karnataka
Film
Industry
and
some
of
the
Pro
Kannada
activists
including
Vattal
Nagaraj
and
Narayana
Gouda
have
condemned
Rajinikanth
for
taking
part
in
the
protest
organized
by
Tamil
film
industry
and
ordered
to
boycott
screening
his
films
in
Karnataka
in
future.
They
have
also
announced
a
ban
on
the
actor
to
enter
in
to
the
state.
