Nayantara donates 5 lakhs to relief fund

op actress Nayantara was the first among Tamil film industry actors to contribute her share to Srilankan Tamil's relief fund.

According to sources close to CM's office, Nayantara visited M. Karunanidhi's house in Gopalapuram early morning today and handed over a cheque of Rs 5 Lakhs.

Nayan is also expected to take part in the hunger strike organized by Nadigar Sangam under the leadership of Sarath Kumar on November 1 at Nadigar Sangam campus, T.Nagar in Chennai between 10 AM and 4 PM.

Earlier actor Napoleon handed over a cheque of Rs.5 lakh, while others in Tamil film industry like director Sundar C, Kushboo and Vivek met the Chief Minister and handed over Rs.1 lakh each.
