It
is
official
now.
Nayantara
is
out
of
Lingusamy's
directorial
venture
Paiya,
produced
by
his
brother
Bose
under
their
home
banner
Thirupathi
Pictures.
Karthi
was
supposed
to
be
Nayantara's
co-star
in
this
film.
Few
months
ago,
Lingusamy
had
signed
Nayantara
for
a
whooping
salary
of
more
of
than
Rs1
Crore
for
this
project.
This
is
the
first
time
that
a
Tamil
actress
has
been
paid
such
a
huge
amount
for
a
movie.
But
after
Nayantara's
movies
flopped
one
after
other,
the
director
wanted
to
make
some
moderation
in
her
remuneration.
But
Nayan
refused
to
reduce
her
salary
and
return
the
advance
amount.
Since
the
actress
had
given
dates
from
last
September,
she
claimed
that
the
amount
compensated
for
her
loss
due
to
the
director's
unwanted
delay.
Nayantara
said,
'I
had
given
dates
for
this
film
from
September
and
for
the
last
three
months
he
was
unable
to
start
the
shoot
due
to
various
reasons.
I
understood
his
situation
and
waited
patiently
without
signing
any
new
film.
It
is
a
big
loss
to
me.
How
will
he
compensate
for
this
loss?
I
also
came
to
know
that
this
guy
has
been
spreading
rumours
against
me
and
approaching
some
other
heroines
for
the
same
role
in
recent
days.
This
is
the
reason
for
my
withdrawal
from
the
project..."
Now,
according
to
sources,
Lingusamy
is
planning
to
approach
the
powerful
producers
council
to
get
back
his
advance
amount
from
Nayantara.
